A long history in a short summary

Cedar Hill is a city in Dallas and Ellis counties, about 16 miles southwest of downtown Dallas, on the eastern shore of Joe Pool Lake and Cedar Hill State Park. It is part of the Best Southwest area with DeSoto, Duncanville and Lancaster. Early in its history it lay along a branch of the Chisholm Trail and served as the temporary county seat of Dallas County. A tornado in 1856 destroyed most of the town's buildings. The 2020 census counted 49,148 residents.

That is history, and it says nothing about your business today; the rest of this page does.

Two kinds of low scores

TypeWhat it looks likeWhat helps
Event-drivenOne bad quarter, then steadyA dated explanation
Pattern-drivenBalances high for a year or moreA clear plan to change the pattern

Most owners are in one camp or the other, and knowing which helps you write a better application.

Our plain terms

We consider $25,000 to $5,000,000. The application takes about five minutes and uses a soft credit pull. Sole proprietors can apply, and funding can arrive in as little as 24 hours. We cannot promise an outcome. A low score can change an offer, and you should read every term before accepting.

Who this fits

  1. The restaurant owner whose slow winter ran on cards.
  2. The contractor waiting on a late final payment.
  3. The practice owner whose insurance payments arrive weeks after care.
  4. The retail owner who bought stock ahead of a season that came in late.

All four have businesses that function. All four have credit that looks worse than the business.

An example of a request that reads well

For illustration only: "We run a small service company in Cedar Hill. In spring 2024 we lost a customer who owed us $22,000 and put payroll on cards. Balances peaked at the end of that year. We have since replaced the customer and want $40,000 to rebuild a cash cushion and buy a second work vehicle." That has a cause, a date, a change and a purpose. The numbers are invented as an example, not as terms we offer.

Questions that come up with lake-area businesses

Cedar Hill State Park and Joe Pool Lake shape part of the city's identity, and some local businesses lean on that, from food service to outdoor retail. Others, such as contractors and practices, have nothing to do with the lake. Whichever you are, your credit file reflects your cash timing. Say which pressure applies to you: seasonality, slow invoices or an equipment bill, and the explanation will write itself.
